PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - ODYSSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:

New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 27th

Experience:

District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years.

Work Schedule:

182 contracted work days

Salary:

The minimum starting pay is $50,500/year and the maximum salary is $101,999/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience.

Job Description: Elementary Specialty Teacher

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: K-6 Elementary Education along with #3 OR

a. A valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in another area AND #3

  • Candidate must have a passing PRAXIS Exam #5001 (or #5018) or CO PLACE - Elementary Education (tests administered on or before May 6, 2017 with score of 220 or higher)
