HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, Florida, is seeking a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to help build and lead a brand-new PM&R residency program, slated to start summer 2026.

Qualified Candidates
- Must be board certified by the American Board of Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation or by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Have at least three (3) years of prior and relevant clinical activity in practice
- At least three (3) years of prior GME administrative experience and formal academic appointments
- Documented scholarly activity within the past five (5) academic years such as peer reviews, research publications, review articles, peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, case reports or clinical series presentations at scientific society meetings, and participation in committees and educational organizations
- Be willing to combine administrative and diagnostic (teaching) responsibilities
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is recognized as a Newsweek Top 20 America's Best Physical Rehabilitation Center and part of the top 10 percent in the country as designated by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation
- Additionally, we are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities with Stroke Specialty and awarded for outstanding rehabilitation program performance
- Supported by hospitalist team who provide the medical treatment to rehab patients

- A full-service, level II trauma and acute-care hospital with 411 beds including 10 ORs and 40 ICU beds
- 24-bed psychiatric unit
- Hospital is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in Clay County
- 9 ACGME residencies/fellowships
- 44 bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays with 112,000 annual patient visits
