What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation care to adult patients in a hospital setting
• Support a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalists
• Perform routine bread and butter inpatient rehab procedures such as joint injections and baclofen pump management
• Manage approximately 8-10 patients daily on a 134-bed unit
• Assist with patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with staff and participate in weekly staff meetings
• Contribute to patient discharge planning and coordination

What You Need
Required:

• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in PM&R
• Board certification or active certification process with certification within five years in PM&R (ABPMR or AOBPMR)
• IL State Medical License, DEA, CSR
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 1-2 years outpatient/inpatient rehab experience

Preferred:

• Experience with joint injections, baclofen pumps, and inpatient rehab procedures
• Ability to see patients independently and work well within a team
