We are seeking a Physical Security Designer to work in our Albany or Rochester, NY office and assist in the preparation of construction documents and shop drawings for security-related projects. This position requires Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and will work closely with engineering staff and clients to develop drawings, specifications, and reports for physical security projects.
Responsibilities:
• Work with other engineers as part of a Project Team to develop physical security concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for systems including Access Control, Intrusion and Perimeter Detection, CCTV, Duress systems, and Integration of multiple systems. • Prepare physical security drawings and details using Revit and AutoCAD. • Create schedules, tables, and reports using Microsoft Office. • Perform field investigations to document existing conditions.

Improve current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthen skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidates relevant experience, education, and work location.
