JOB SUMMARY

This job collects, assesses, and disseminates raw intelligence and various intelligence products. The incumbent consolidates comprehensive information into strategic, analytical intelligence products to enhance Executive Management and and Corporate Security"s understanding of threats, gaps, and vulnerabilities to physical security and employee safety. Also responsible for a wide range of work from making real-time analytic judgements regarding specific and emerging threats to conducting studies to identify threats and trends. This job requires self-initiated study and research of various sources of information and topics with the ability to think forward and be nimble.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather data and intelligence from numerous internal and external sources that is related in anyway to the physical security and safety of the employees and patients of the Enterprise.
  • Analyses of gathered intelligence to provide both real-time and long-term studies to provide an understanding of current and emerging threats, gaps, and vulnerabilites. Prepares recommendations to management on studies, threats and closing identified security gaps.
  • Consolidate comprehensive information into various strategic and analytic written reports.
  • Research, evaluate, and create security plans for off-site events for executives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor"s degree in Criminology

Substitutions

  • 6 year"s related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor degree

Preferred

  • Masters degree in Criminology

EXPERIENCE

  • Act 73 FBI fingerprint background check needed upon hire.
  • 5 - 7 years Law Enforcement / Intelligence Gathering and Analytics

Or

  • 5 - 7 years Security

To Include

  • 1 - 3 years Clean / NCIC Database

Preferred

  • 3 - 5 years Business Intelligence

Or

  • 3 - 5 years Data Analytics
