This is a Physical Therapist Acute Care Hospital travel/contract position at a Short Term Acute Care facility in Lubbock, TX. The facility is a 379-bed, Level II Trauma Center operating under the Allied Health / Therapy & Rehabilitation profession category.
Rooted in a 165-year tradition of compassionate care, this not-for-profit Catholic health system is one of the largest and most mission-driven healthcare organizations in the United States. Founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1859, this Pacific Northwest-anchored system now spans seven states Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, New Mexico, and Texas operating 51 hospitals, more than 800 non-acute facilities, and a broad network of assisted living and home health programs.
What defines this organization above all else is its mission: to serve each person with the highest respect for human dignity, guided by a deep commitment to compassion, integrity, and excellence. Every employee whether working at the bedside, in a support role, or in operations is considered a caregiver. That ethos creates a culture where the work feels meaningful at every level, because it is.
The organization's six core values Spirituality, Integrity, Stewardship, Trust, Excellence, and Respect are not aspirational slogans. They shape hiring decisions, daily operations, and long-term strategy alike. Teams here span registered nurses and physicians, allied health specialists, healthcare administrators, technology and data professionals, and mission-driven support staff. For clinical and non-clinical professionals who want to bring their full selves to work in service of a higher purpose, this environment is genuinely distinctive.
Professionally, the scale of this organization creates exceptional breadth of opportunity. From acute care hospitals to research, population health, and digital health innovation, employees can grow across specialties and geographies without leaving the system. The organization consistently invests in the development of its people because it understands that delivering excellent care requires excellent caregivers who are supported, developed, and valued at every stage of their careers.
