Location: Austin, Texas Employment Type: Full Time / Contract
The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers school-based services for our students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success, maintain required documentation, participate in ARD/IEP processes where applicable, and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
Assist with mobility and motor interventions.
Document student progress.
Support adaptive equipment implementation.
Participate in IEP/ARD meetings as requested.
Collaborate with teachers and families.
Maintain accurate records.
Ensure student safety.
Follow district policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Associate degree and active Texas PTA license.
Preferred Qualifications
School or pediatric experience.
Strong communication.
Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes.
