Position: Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

Specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Concussion, Vestibular, FCE''s, POETs, and an ACL Program

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time

Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00/hour (pending experience)

Join NovaCare Columbia''s leading sports medicine team as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) focused on orthopedics and sports medicine care. This Select Center of Excellence (COE) features highly trained clinicians with advanced sports expertise, along with access to a 25-yard turf field, modern equipment, and innovative technology to support high-level rehabilitation and performance.

Work with a diverse patient population across orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular, concussion, and industrial rehabilitation. Ideal for a PTA who values variety, collaboration, and helping patients, from everyday individuals to athletes, return to peak function and performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
