About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Rebound Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the recovery journey of our patients. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients under supervision.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred, with a focus on rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.
