    Join Kettering Home Care as a Physical Therapist Assistant and help patients regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence in the comfort of their own homes.

    As a Home Health PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a Physical Therapist while providing one-on-one care, supporting individualized treatment plans, and helping patients reach their therapy goals.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist

    • Assist patients with exercises, mobility, strengthening, and functional goals

    • Support treatment plans focused on restoring independence and improving quality of life

    • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use

    • Observe and report patient progress, changes, and concerns to the Physical Therapist

    • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team

    • Complete timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Medicare guidelines

    • Participate in case conferences, trainings, and on-call requirements as needed

    Qualifications

    • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment

    • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting required

    • Home health experience preferred

    • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

    • Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills

    • Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field
