    Physical Therapist Assistant – Split Position (Outpatient Orthopedics)
    Location: Winter Haven and Lake Wales, FL
    Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
    Compensation: Starting at $28+ per hour, based on experience
    Incentives: $12,000 Sign-On Bonus and $200 per month Student Loan Repayment

     

    Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support two outpatient orthopedic clinics located approximately 13 minutes apart in Winter Haven and Lake Wales. The centers treat a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic conditions as well as neuro, vestibular, sports medicine, amputee, and fall prevention cases. The PTA will collaborate with a clinical team of 4 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants in a supportive and team-focused environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
    • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
    • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
    Qualifications:
    • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
    • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
    • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
    • CPR certification
