Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Part-Time & Per Diem

Position Summary:
Oak Manor Healthcare & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time and per diem basis. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and functional activities

• Monitor and document resident progress and response to treatment

• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding resident status and progress

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state/federal regulations

• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current Florida PTA license in good standing

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
