Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Pay: $30–$36 per hour
Office: Based in one Pompano Beach office only
We are recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pompano Beach, FL for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy office. This position supports patients during active treatment sessions and helps carry out the care plan developed by the Physical Therapist.
The PTA will assist with strengthening, mobility work, balance training, gait activities, stretching, and functional rehab. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys clinic-based patient care and clear treatment routines.
Schedule Options Include:
- Four 10-hour workdays
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans under PT supervision
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional movement activities
- Assist with gait training, mobility, balance, range of motion, and strengthening
- Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document daily care and patient response
- Support an efficient outpatient clinic workflow
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong communication and treatment follow-through skills
