Physical Therapist Assistant (Pta) - Full-Time

Located in the heart of Texas, Yoakum Community Hospital has delivered compassionate, high-quality healthcare for over a century. We are currently seeking a motivated, full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated patient care team. Working closely with our Physical Therapist, you will provide hands-on treatments, therapeutic massages, and targeted exercises to help patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics—restore mobility and improve their overall well-being. You will also play a vital role in guiding and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery plans.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university
• Valid and current Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong desire to help others and make a positive impact
• Knowledge of growth and development across different age groups
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
