Job SummaryThis role is responsible for providing direct support in the treatment of patients receiving outpatient physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist Assistant will deliver therapy interventions based on the established plan of care, assist patients with improving movement and physical function, and help ensure each session is carried out safely and efficiently. In addition to patient treatment, the position requires close communication with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress, response to interventions, and any notable changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapist-directed treatment plans
• Assist patients with exercises and mobility work
• Observe and report patient status
• Maintain accurate treatment records
• Keep treatment spaces clean and ready

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
• Active New Jersey PTA license
• Outpatient experience preferred
• Strong time management skills
