Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Per Diem Home Care
@Home Therapy is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide in-home therapy throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Long Island. This flexible per diem opportunity is ideal for PTAs interested in building a caseload within their preferred locations.
Responsibilities:
Provide treatment under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.
Follow established plans of care.
Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
Complete documentation accurately and on time.
Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising therapist.
Requirements:
Current New York State PTA license.
Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an accredited program.
Professional liability insurance.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patients.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
A business entity is required for independent contractor engagement.
