Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Corry, PA
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Job Summary:
Provide physical therapy support services under indirect supervision, assisting physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation care and improving patient mobility and functional outcomes.
Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Certificate of Authority required for indirect supervision
- Experience in rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to follow treatment plans under supervising PT
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work in a clinical rehabilitation environment
- Compliance with state licensure and facility guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility assistance
- Support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals
- Document patient progress and treatment activities
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
- Communicate patient progress to supervising PT
- Maintain clean and safe therapy environment
- Assist with patient transfers, gait training, and mobility support
