Our Company Orthopedic Rehab Specialists (ORS) is an independent therapist owned clinic that offers high quality patient centered care in a unique environment that promotes collaboration to achieve maximum therapeutic potential. Founded in 2000, in Rockford, IL, ORS expanded its ability to serve the community by adding occupational therapy, athletic training, and massage therapy services. We have clinics in surrounding Illinois communities including Belvidere, Byron, Dixon, Loves Park and Winnebago.
As we speak to the specialists in our name, we pride ourselves on our extensive education, training and pursuit of recognized certifications in our discipline(s). Experience and continued education among our team members allows close collaboration, skills transfer and guidance opportunities. Staff cohesiveness promotes knowledge sharing and internal resources.
Provides onsite patient treatment and execution of plan of care including but not limited to performing therapy techniques, directing therapeutic exercises, assessment and testing, to promote movement, reduce pain, and restore function. The PTA works closely with Physical Therapists, family members, and other health care providers to ensure goals of the plan of care are met and outcomes are optimal.
Compensation and Benefits We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits program including base salary, signing bonus and discretionary bonus plan. Base salary rage 55K-72K commensurate with education and work experience. Benefits include, medical, dental, vision, Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Life and AD&D, Voluntary Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Hospital Insurance, generous Paid Time Off Plan, and 401(k) Plan.
Qualifications Must hold a valid state physical therapy assistant license having achieved certification in an accredited physical therapy assistant program Must have excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success, excellent communication skills, high level analytical capability and demonstrated ability to effectively perform therapy interventions. Basic computer skills are required. Must possess the ability to perform all duties with regard to state and federal laws and regulations including maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPPA and new regulations as they occur.
