Roles & Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in delivering personalized treatment plans that help patients regain strength and mobility
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to their recovery goals
Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately
Educate patients and families on at-home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
Collaborate with the rehab team to adjust treatments for the best possible outcomes
Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes patient confidence and independence
Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility compliance requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
Understanding of patient documentation and HIPAA regulations
Skill in operating therapy equipment and modalities
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Patient-centered mindset with a focus on safety and encouragement
