Seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic activities, and promote mobility, strength, and functional independence.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $40.20 - $46.90 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and functional mobility activities
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist
• Provide balance, strengthening, and endurance training interventions
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Ensure patient safety during all treatment sessions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals

• Guaranteed 35 hours per week
• Competitive pay rate of $40.20 - $46.90 per hour
