Physical Therapist Assistant (Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Additional Requirements: Every 4th weekend and 2-3 holidays per year
Are you passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life? Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA and work alongside skilled physical therapists to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across a variety of patient populations.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments based on plans of care developed by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates or recommended adjustments to the supervising therapist
- Assist in the evaluation and care of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within scope of practice
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments, patient progress, and any changes in condition
- Support safe patient transport when needed, ensuring comfort and professionalism at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment and assist with departmental operations
- Collaborate with clinical support staff, volunteers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
