Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, youll promote Elara Carings philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care. You will perform direct physical therapy services in accordance with accepted standards of practice and certification by the patients physician to ensure quality and continuity of care. Responsibilities include following the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist, verifying each visits Plan of Care, providing care according to physicians orders and assessment data, and incorporating patient care goals into therapy. You will instruct patients and families in safe use of assistive devices and home therapy programs, working in a physically demanding environment requiring full body motion and occasional irregular hours.
