HumCap is partnering with a client to identify a Physical Therapist to support the recovery, readiness, and long-term performance of U.S. Air Force aircrew. This role focuses on return-to-fly rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance readiness through evidence-based physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and integrate therapy services within a broader human performance framework to support mission demands.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based physical therapy services tailored to aircrew needs
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Support return-to-fly rehabilitation, injury prevention, and recovery care
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary Human Performance team to deliver integrated care
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Contribute to curriculum development, research initiatives, and process improvement efforts
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collegiate or professional sports, tactical, aerospace, or other high-performance man–machine environments
- Athletic Training experience may be considered only if dual-credentialed as both DPT and AT
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one (T3 background investigation required)
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
