Position: Physical Therapist

Salary: $84,000 - $111,000 per year (based on experience)

Sign-on bonuses available

761 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT (Fairfield County; outpatient clinic)

Job Type

Full-Time — Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Shifts alternate between 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. We offer flexibility in scheduling and are open to discussing 10-hour versus 8-hour shifts. Further details regarding the schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your success will be achieved by:

  • Utilizing clinical reasoning to evaluate movement dysfunction and identify root causes through patient history and physical assessments.
  • Collaboratively creating and modifying evidence-based care plans that align with each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Administering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities to enhance function and alleviate pain.
  • Monitoring significant patient outcomes and adapting your approach based on progress and clinical observations.
  • Acting as a reliable resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery process.
Qualifications

Requirements for Physical Therapist:

  • Valid Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in Connecticut.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic treating a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative, pre-operative, and non-operative cases—this experience can be obtained as a licensed Physical Therapist or during clinical affiliations for new graduates.
