About This Opportunity
As a Physical Therapist, your role requires providing optimal patient care through evaluation, program planning, and implementation of therapy services. The aim is to help patients restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury while advancing the field of physical therapy through education and collaboration with students, hospital staff, and healthcare professionals.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred for therapy.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings.
- Implement and modify treatment programs as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families on treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Promote physical therapy through teaching and mentoring students and healthcare staff.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct community outreach and educational programs related to physical therapy.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in all interactions.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university required
- Graduated from a physical therapy program recognized by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or its successor organization.
Experience
- Relevant experience in the field of physical therapy
- New Grads encouraged to apply
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess a current Georgia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Current CPR certification
