We are seeking an experienced and caring physical therapist to join our growing clinic on a full-time basis. This individual would function as our patients' partner and advocate on their road to recovery, from diagnosis to the completion of rehabilitation. You must be self-motivated to continuously grow your clientele and skills.

About Us

We are a small but expanding clinic located in Clawson, Michigan that is enthusiastic and dedicated to patient care. Every appointment we offer is a 60 min one-on-one session to allow for optimal care. The clinics focus is orthopedics but also venture out into Parkinson’s and performance training. We utilize a hybrid model of insurance and cash-based payments.

Physical Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

\n

\n

Meet with patients and identify their needs and goals.

\n

\n

Devise detailed treatment plans to achieve goals.

\n

\n

Exercise personal judgment (i.e., make modifications as needed) during treatment execution to ensure patient safety and continued progress.

\n

\n

Motivate and encourage patients throughout the treatment process.

\n

\n

Devise detailed exercise techniques, stretches, and self-care programs for patients to complete between sessions.

\n

\n

Evaluate effects of therapy and keep detailed records of patient appointments and progress.

\n

 

\n

Communicate with patients' physicians regularly to ensure consistent care.

\n

\n

Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations.

\n

\n

Maintain patient confidentiality.

\n

\n

\n

\n

Physical Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

\n

\n

\n

Ideally looking for 5+ years of experience but newer graduates would be considered

\n

\n

Proven work ethic and dedication to patient care throughout the recovery process.

\n

\n

Ability to communicate and adapt to different patients and personalities.

\n

\n

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

\n

\n

A high level of professionalism and personal ethics

\n

\n

Extensive education in the field of physical therapy as well as clinical experience

\n

\n

OMPT certification preferred.

\n

\n

Certifications in Functional Movement and Selective Functional Movement Screens preferred.

\n

\n

A thorough knowledge of current treatment practices.

\n

\n

A valid license to practice physical therapy.

\n

CPR certification

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n
