Physical Therapist

Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist in Detroit, MI.

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Detroit, MI 48235
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Payrate: $60-$62/hour

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients using standard physical therapy procedures (heat, cold, ultrasound, exercise, traction, electricity)
• Evaluate motor and neurological capabilities and document findings
• Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises and equipment use
• Administer and interpret physical therapy assessments/tests
• Maintain treatment documentation, evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Co-sign notes completed by PT assistants, aides, and students
• Develop home care programs and educate patients/families
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and patient care discussions
• Supervise and train PT assistants, aides, students, and volunteers
• Maintain therapy equipment and recommend needed supplies
• Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to stay current on treatment methods
• Support interdisciplinary care programs and service line initiatives
• Promote teamwork, communication, quality care, and efficient resource use

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or accredited PT program certification
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist license
• 1 year of experience
• BLS Certification
