Physical Therapist Director
Job Description
A Winchester outpatient clinic is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Director for a director-level role.
This position is a good fit for a physical therapist who wants to stay actively involved in treatment while also helping guide the clinic’s clinical direction. You will provide one-on-one care, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with patients across a range of ages, goals, and conditions.
The role also offers the opportunity to help build the clinic’s patient base and establish a strong standard of care from the start.
Work Setting
This is an in-person outpatient role based in Winchester, VA. The clinic includes access to a large fitness facility, allowing treatment to include manual therapy, active rehab, mobility work, strengthening, and movement-based recovery.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Patient Volume
Approximately 12 patient visits per 8-hour day at full caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy care in a one-on-one setting
- Lead clinical services for the clinic location
- Evaluate and treat a broad outpatient caseload
- Create treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Use manual therapy, strengthening, mobility work, and gym-based rehab
- Perform hands-on techniques when appropriate
- Complete patient documentation in Athena Health
- Help build the clinic’s patient base
- Maintain a high standard of care while working independently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Interest in manual therapy and continued learning
- Willingness to help grow the clinic
- Professional and dependable
