Physical Therapist

Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist

Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30am 3:30pm

Job Description:

The Pediatric Physical Therapist is responsible for facilitating gross motor skills development, including walking, standing, and sitting up, through exercises and activities aimed at improving strength, endurance, and body control. They work to optimize posture, balance, and coordination, utilizing positioning devices to enhance student performance and prevent deformities. Additionally, the Physical Therapist focuses on developing motor skills necessary for participation in physical education, ensuring student safety and access to their environment and community, enhancing vocational and transitional skills, and providing support to educational teams and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Pediatric experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active PT License in the state
• Preferred: 2+ years of PT experience
