What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist I (PT I), you will:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment planning for patients with acquired and developmental disabilities
- Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy interventions to maximize function and independence
- Delegate and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians
- Collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team to drive patient-centered outcomes
- Participate in intra- and interdisciplinary training programs and continuous learning
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with KKI policies and Maryland Board regulations

Qualifications:
- CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Eligible for license to practice as a PT in the state of Maryland.
- Continuing education or certification in Physical Therapy or a related field is preferred.
- *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
- *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited undergraduate program for PTs.
- Graduate degree (M.S. or higher) preferred.
- One year of experience working in a related Physical Therapy practice setting is preferred.
- Experience working with or treating children or adults with developmental or acquired disabilities is preferred.
Minimum pay range:
USD $78,000.00/Yr.
Maximum pay range:
USD $106,886.00/Yr.K
