Join a high-performance team dedicated to supporting the health, recovery, and operational readiness of U.S. Air Force aircrew. HumCap's client is seeking a Physical Therapist within the CRAFT program, that will play a critical role in helping aviators recover from injury, prevent future physical limitations, and safely return to flight status through evidence-based rehabilitation and performance care.
In this role, you will provide individualized physical therapy services tailored to the unique demands of aviation and tactical environments. Working alongside an interdisciplinary Human Performance team, you will integrate rehabilitation, injury prevention, movement optimization, and recovery strategies to maximize performance and mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy services designed to support aircrew recovery, resilience, and return-to-flight readiness.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
  • Implement injury prevention, movement optimization, and recovery strategies aligned with operational demands.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary Human Performance professionals to deliver integrated care and performance support.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reporting, and program records.
  • Support curriculum development, education, and instructional initiatives related to human performance and injury mitigation.
  • Participate in research efforts, program evaluation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties in support of mission and program objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collegiate athletics, professional sports, tactical, aerospace, military, or other high-performance environments.
    Setting-specific experience may include Athletic Training practice only if dual credentialed as both DPT and AT.
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (T3 background investigation).
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility and employment in this position.
