Medical Edge is currently hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) on behalf of one of our valued healthcare clients. This is an opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.
As a Physical Therapist (PT), you'll play an important role in helping patients restore function, improve mobility, manage pain, and achieve greater independence. Your clinical expertise, compassion, and dedication will be an essential part of each patient's care journey.
A Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role:
Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status.
Develops and updates individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, based on their goals and capabilities.
Plans, prepares, and carries out evidence-based interventions to maintain, improve, or restore function; alleviate pain; and prevent dysfunction.
Delivers therapy using standard PT techniques and modalities appropriate to the patient's age and condition, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and physical agents as appropriate.
Administers physical agents and operates PT equipment safely, including necessary setup and equipment checks.
Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommends modifications as needed.
Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and timelines while planning for reevaluation and discharge.
Directs and supervises PTAs, students, and support personnel; delegates tasks appropriately and maintains clear communication.
Participates in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Performs other duties as assigned.
