    Physical Therapist - Outpatient | UPMC Mansfield

    UPMC is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team at UPMC Outpatient Center, 416 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA.

    Clinic Hours

    • Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
    • Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Full-time schedule consists of 8-hour shifts within clinic operating hours.

    What You'll Do

    • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Provide physical therapy treatments for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
    • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
    • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapist assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
    • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
    • Supervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants.
    • Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
    • Serve as a clinical instructor for students when applicable.

    Required:

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA.
    • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient care skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and document information in medical records.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

    Preferred:

    • Active participation in professional healthcare organizations.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    • Active Physical Therapist (PT license in the practicing state.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • Act 33 Clearance
    • Act 34 Clearance
    • Act 73 FBI Clearance

    May, in the course of job duties, enter areas where medications are stored. No contact with medications is required.
