Physical Therapist needed in San Antonio, TX

Role Overview

• Provides outpatient physical therapy services under Medical Director of PM&R

• Evaluates patients and develops individualized plans of care

• Delivers evidence-based treatments and documents care timely and accurately

• Supervises and collaborates with PTAs and rehab staff

• Focus on patient safety, functional outcomes, and high-level customer service

Patient Care & Responsibilities

• Interpret provider referrals and perform evaluations

• Develop functional goals and treatment plans

• Modify treatments based on patient progress

• Educate patients, families, and care team

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

• Participate in CQI and ongoing education

Work Environment

• Clinic-based setting

• Physical demands include standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, and manual therapy

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (TX)

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from accredited program

• BLS/CPR (AED required)

• Outpatient PT experience preferred (new grads welcome)

• EMR/computer proficiency
