Position Overview

Department: Outpatient Physical Therapy

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday

Facility: Orthopedic Center

Location: Auburn, ME 04210

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and recovery objectives.
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid state Physical Therapy license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
