Position Title: Physical Therapists Location: New York, NY 10035 Duration: 2 years Work Schedule: Day Pay rate: 55-60$/hr.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Conduct initial evaluations and functional assessments for newly admitted patients and patients returning from outside hospitalization.
Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments and therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Educate patients, families, and direct care staff on treatment goals, rehabilitation techniques, and fall/injury prevention strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care and participate in safety-related committees as required.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a NYSED-registered, CAPTE-accredited, or equivalent international program.
Active New York State Physical Therapy license in good standing.
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Minimum of one (1) year of professional physical therapy experience.
Strong knowledge of physical therapy assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and clinical record management.
Excellent communication, patient education, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet background check and vaccination requirements.
