Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $43-$46 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed

Facility: 74-bed Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our 74-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population to help them regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals

- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to help patients improve their strength, balance, flexibility, and overall physical function

- Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Stay current with advancements and best practices in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- CPR certification

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong time-management and organizational abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
