Position Summary

The Physical Therapist evaluates patient conditions, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating patient conditions and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing physical therapy treatments and monitoring patient progress
  • Communicating patient progress or concerns with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
  • Assisting with patient scheduling and daily charge posting
  • Documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements
  • Educating patients, families, and nursing staff on follow-through care programs
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, clean work environment
  • Adhering to professional standards, compliance policies, and state/federal regulations
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in South Carolina
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
