Physical Therapist, Outpatient, Full-Time, Bronson Battle Creek **$20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Why This Role

If you're passionate about helping patients regain movement, function, and confidence, outpatient physical therapy offers the opportunity to see the impact of your care firsthand.

At Bronson Battle Creek, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of rehabilitation professionals who partner with patients throughout their recovery journey. From post-surgical rehabilitation and orthopedic injuries to chronic pain and pelvic health concerns, you'll help individuals achieve meaningful goals that improve their quality of life.

Our outpatient model emphasizes one-on-one patient care, allowing you to focus your attention on a single patient at a time. This approach supports stronger therapeutic relationships, individualized treatment, and the opportunity to deliver the high-quality care your patients deserve.

This is an opportunity to build lasting patient relationships, practice evidence-based care, and be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation services.

Why Now

Outpatient rehabilitation allows you to see progress unfold over time—and be a key part of every milestone along the way.

As a Physical Therapist at Bronson Battle Creek, you'll have the opportunity to evaluate, treat, educate, and empower patients as they work toward greater independence and improved function. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining the clinical autonomy to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or looking to grow your expertise, you'll find a supportive environment that values professional development, teamwork, and outstanding patient care.

What's In It for You

  • One-on-one treatment model with the ability to focus on a single patient at a time
  • Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
  • Diverse outpatient caseload including orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and functional mobility conditions
  • Collaborative team environment with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and rehabilitation support staff
  • Clinical autonomy to evaluate, develop, and progress individualized treatment plans
  • Dedicated time to provide individualized care and support positive patient outcomes
  • Opportunities to mentor students and support the development of future rehabilitation professionals
  • Participation in program development and process improvement initiatives
  • Supportive culture focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered care

What You'll Be Doing

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional goals
  • Assess strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, mobility, pain, and functional limitations
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions designed to improve function and maximize independence
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress throughout the course of care
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and care planning activities
  • Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and plan-of-care updates within the electronic medical record
  • Serve as a clinical resource and contribute expertise within the rehabilitation team
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, program development, and process improvement efforts
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to Physical Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation support staff, students, and volunteers as appropriate
  • Support coverage needs across Rehabilitation Services locations when needed

What You'll Bring

  • Passion for helping patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to build trust and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Pelvic Health experience or specialized training preferred, but not required
  • Interest in supporting Pelvic Health services is highly valued

What to Expect

This is an outpatient Physical Therapist position based at Bronson Battle Creek.

You'll work with patients across a wide range of diagnoses and conditions, often seeing them throughout multiple stages of recovery. The pace is engaging and patient-focused, offering the opportunity to develop long-term therapeutic relationships and celebrate meaningful progress alongside your patients.

Our clinic utilizes a one-on-one treatment approach, allowing therapists to work with one patient at a time rather than managing multiple patients simultaneously. This model supports individualized care, clinical excellence, and stronger patient connections while giving therapists the opportunity to fully focus on each patient's goals and progress.

Our therapists are encouraged to collaborate, share expertise, pursue professional growth, and contribute to the ongoing development of rehabilitation services. If you enjoy building connections, solving clinical challenges, and helping patients return to the activities that matter most, you'll find a rewarding career here.

What Is Required (Education)

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Physical Therapist license in good standing within the State of Michigan

Additional Requirements

  • BLS certification required within three months of hire
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and members of the healthcare team
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to document within an electronic medical record
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of patient care, including standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and assisting patients as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a collaborative healthcare team

We’re Excited to Hear From You

Whether you're an experienced outpatient therapist or looking to grow your practice in a supportive environment, Bronson Battle Creek offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through one-on-one patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

We are also pleased to offer H-1B sponsorship opportunities for exceptional Physical Therapist candidates.
