Position Overview

Door County Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation team in Sister Bay, WI. This full-time outpatient position offers 40 hours per week, with consideration given to candidates available a minimum of 32 hours across four weekdays.

Physical Therapists of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including new graduates. Our team provides mentorship, support, and a structured ramp-up period to help clinicians build confidence and succeed.

Role Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will work in a hospital outpatient setting treating patients of all ages with a general orthopedic caseload.

This position offers the opportunity to:

Provide one-on-one, patient-centered care

Treat a diverse range of orthopedic conditions

Develop specialty skills and pursue certifications

Collaborate with an experienced healthcare team

Full-time PTs can expect to see approximately 4-7 patients per day, with a gradual increase in caseload as comfort and experience grow. Dedicated documentation time is provided, and there are no double bookings.

Schedule

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

No major holidays.

After the first year of employment, clinicians may participate in an inpatient rotation requiring approximately 2-3 Saturdays per year.

Qualifications

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin

One year of experience preferred, but not required

New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
