Physical Therapist - Part Time

The Delavan Darien School District is hiring a permanent, part time (28 hours per week) Physical Therapist to be part of a dynamic therapy team. This position services students EC-grade 12 in multiple schools within the Delavan Darien School District. The physical therapist will plan and administer physical therapy treatment for children with IEPs by working to improve, develop, restore, or maintain a child''s sensory motor function in educational environments as defined in the IEP. Must have excellent diagnostic evaluation skills, IEP reporting skills, and be an effective team member. Must possess impeccable morals/ethics, exhibit courtesy and respect for everyone. Teamwork, humor and great interpersonal relation skills are essential. Experience in a school setting is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master''s degree (M.A.) in physical therapy from a school accredited by the American

Physical Therapy Association

• Current physical therapy certification from the WI Department of Regulation & Licensing
• Wisconsin DPI license #817 or the ability to obtain one
• Current driver's license
• Experience working with students with IEPs desired
• Ability to be flexible and accommodating to changing school and student needs

Experience with second language learners and ability to speak Spanish is also a plus.
