The Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to hire a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a growing Physical Therapy team.<\/span>
<\/p>

In this role, you will administer physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities as prescribed by a physician to support patient recovery, improve mobility and function, reduce pain, and promote overall rehabilitation goals.<\/span>
<\/p>

What You’ll Do<\/span>
<\/p>

  • Evaluate patients, develop & support treatments discharge plans under physician direction<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare and educate patients on prescribed treatments<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and mobility training while educating patients<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Provide age -appropriate care for patients across lifespan in accordance with departmental policy<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance as directed<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Clean and properly store equipment after use<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain confidentiality while providing professional, patient -centered service<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    What We Are Looking For<\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Current Texas Physical Therapy license and CPR certification<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of physical therapy equipment<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • One year of physical therapy experience preferred<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Physical Requirements<\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 300 pounds, including assisting patients as needed<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
