We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pelvic Health Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients who are dealing with various pelvic health conditions. You will be working closely with a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals, and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our patients' lives by improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
As a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, your primary duties will include:
1. Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to identify their physical condition and needs.
2. Developing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving pelvic health and overall wellness.
3. Providing hands-on therapy, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
4. Educating patients about their conditions and teaching them appropriate exercises to improve their health.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
6. Keeping accurate records of patient's care, condition, progress, and concerns.
7. Regularly reassessing patient's progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
8. Staying updated with the latest advancements in pelvic health physical therapy and incorporating them into patient treatments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
1. A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a setting focused on pelvic health.
3. Specialization or certification in pelvic health physical therapy is highly desirable.
4. Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, particularly the pelvic region.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
6. The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. A patient-centric approach to care, with a strong commitment to improving patient health and well-being.
9. The ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
