Key Responsibilities
The role involves delivering medically prescribed physical therapy services aimed at evaluating, treating, and restoring function, while enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Patient-centered care must align with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to aid rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and recovery objectives.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- A valid state Physical Therapy license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
