Physical Therapist - PT - Full Time

Overview: 

A Full Time Physical Therapist , (PT/RPT), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Canton, MA.  Choice of schedule: Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday (or) Thursday-Monday.  One year treating experience required. 

Facility is a busy subacute rehab center located right near the commuter rail in Canton MA. Hellenic is a non-profit facility associated with the Hellenic Women’s Benevolent Association, founded by Greek Orthodox individuals who were unable to find appropriate care for loved ones. Their mission is to provide quality care to patients and residents of any background, culture, and faith. As rehab professionals working within this center, we have the pleasure of treating both short and long term residents from any of the five nursing units in the center. The rehab staff here are tight knit, enjoying regular team lunches and social gatherings.

Qualifications:

Under the direction of a Rehab Director, a successful Rehab Team Leader will:

• Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services
• Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department
• Provide therapy services to patients
• Provide clinical support, training and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline.
• Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department
• Be a licensed Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state where employed

• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
