Physical Therapist - PT - Per Diem

Overview: 

A Per Diem Physical Therapist, (PT/RPT), position is now available in our rehab department located in North Bellmore, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. Must have SNF experience.

Belair Care Center is a busy sub-acute/skilled nursing facility where you would be working with the geriatric population and see a good mix of short-term and long-term care patients, it-s very short term oriented. Scheduling allows for flexible and accommodating hours. The center is a 5 star facility with fantastic rehab director and a full rehab team that works well together. 2 large beautiful rehab gyms that offers a friendly work environment with great patient outcomes. Also very close to the Southern State parkway!

Job Requirements:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapist, (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours
• Must have SNF experience.

Good Faith Rate Range: $50.00 - $55.00

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will:

·    Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting

·    Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment 

·    Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

·    Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation

·    Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation

·    Work well with others in a team setting

·    Be flexible with hours.
