Join our team at Myerstown Nursing and Rehab as a PRN Physical Therapist and help provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents in our skilled nursing facility.

Position Type: PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional physical therapy services within the PT scope of practice while following all professional standards, departmental procedures, and productivity expectations• Perform resident evaluations and assist in developing individualized short-term and long-term treatment goals• Develop and implement treatment plans designed to maximize resident function and independence• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal resident outcomes• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements• Educate residents and families regarding therapy goals, treatment plans, and home exercise programs as appropriate

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist (PT) license• Current BLS certification• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
