Physical Therapist (PRN) - Independence Rehab

Orchard Park, Orem UT
$50-55/hour | PRN | Flexible Scheduling | Therapist-Owned

Helping People Stay Independent in the Later Chapters of Life
Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist (PT) who finds purpose in helping older adults regain mobility, confidence, and dignity.

As a PRN therapist partnering with Independence Rehab at Orchard Park, you'll support residents navigating recovery, chronic conditions, and life transitions - providing therapy that truly changes daily life.

Whether you're looking to supplement your schedule, maintain clinical variety, or stay connected to meaningful geriatric care, Independence Rehab offers flexible PRN opportunities in a supportive environment.

What a Day Looks Like
As a PRN PT in our geriatric programs, your day is relationship-driven, collaborative, and clinically meaningful.

You'll treat a medically complex geriatric population in a setting where clinical reasoning, compassion, and flexibility are valued.

• Performing evaluations and contributing to individualized plans of care as needed
• Guiding residents through mobility milestones - first steps, safe transfers, returning home
• Leading gait, balance, strengthening, and functional training sessions
• Helping reduce fall risk and build confidence with daily activities
• Supervising and collaborating with PTAs when scheduled
• Adjusting care plans based on patient progress and clinical judgment
• Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery
• Providing reliable coverage for vacations, caseload fluctuations, and program growth

Why Therapists Choose Independence Rehab
We're a small, therapist-owned company that runs therapy operations independently - meaning we advocate for clinicians and protect clinical judgment.

Our PRN therapists often tell us the biggest difference is flexibility paired with real support.

• Competitive PRN hourly pay ($50-55/hour)
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Realistic productivity expectations (85-90%)
• Strong corporate involvement without micromanagement
• Stable leadership with low management turnover
• Autonomy in clinical decision-making
• Protection from unrealistic facility pressure
• Therapy team operates independently from nursing management
• Excellent patient outcomes and strong regional reputation

PRN clinicians receive:

• Structured onboarding and integration
• Documentation and workflow training
• Support from experienced therapy leadership
• Ongoing clinical resources when you need them

New grads are welcomed and supported.

PRN Benefits & Perks
While PRN roles are designed for flexibility, we still invest in your success:

• Continuing education support opportunities
• Access to clinical resources and mentorship
• Opportunity to transition to part-time or full-time if desired

Requirements
• Active Utah Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited PT program
