Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an Acute Care Hospital setting in Lubbock, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking to expand their acute care experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Physical Therapy experience.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
