POSITION OVERVIEW

The Physical Therapist (PT) plays a crucial role in delivering a wide array of physical therapy services. This includes assessing patients, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions within a collaborative setting, adhering to professional standards and ethical practices.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state PT license or certification.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 0-1 years in the field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation requirements.
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities aimed at enhancing patients’ physical capabilities.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercise methods, posture, body mechanics, and effective management strategies for their conditions.
  • Keep precise and current documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to guarantee holistic patient care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
